He finished his studies at the Budapest University of Economics in 1992, at the faculty of foreign economy (the title of his thesis was “International Utilization of Musical Compositions as Intellectual Property”). He had diverse jobs, until finally starting his popular band Bonanza Banzai (admittedly copying their icon Depeche Mode), which brought him national fame. Akosh worked in the band both as a singer, composer and lyricist. Since 1995 after the parting of Bonanza he has been building his solo career consciously and professionally and not only at home. The musician had many albums released abroad in English.
His theatre “adventures” started in 1995. The artist composed the music of “Baal” – a play by Bertold Brecht that debuted in Vígszínház. In 1998 Akosh was one of the main characters of “Oliver”, a theatre play at Madách Theatre.
In 1999 he adopted Phil Collins’s songs for “Tarzan”, a film by Disney. Beside music and lyrics he writes poems as well, and has released five volumes so far.
